Dean Faulkner Wells (1936–2011) lived and wrote in Oxford, Mississippi. She was editor of The Great American Writers Cookbook, The Best of Bad Faulkner, The Great American Politicians Cookbook, and Ghosts of Rowan Oak. Her work was published in the Paris Review, Parade, Playboy, Ladies’ Home Journal, Southern Living, and other periodicals.
