David Copperfield is perhaps one of the most popular novels by Charles Dickens, and not only in English-speaking countries. Besides, it was screened numerously. The book is written in the first person as memories of a decent gentleman David Copperfield of his life that deserved the attention from his point of view. The novel is some sort of archive. There is a chain of miseries and disasters, unhappiness and fortunes, disappointments and happy moments. There are completely different people: poor and rich, scoundrels and honourable men, wicked men and men with a pure heart. The stories of people’s lives are connected to each other.
