I believe this is the first book I've read by this author. I love the cover which is what drew me in. Then I read the blurb. I've been gravitating towards later in life romance since I'm starting to enter that stage of life myself. This book had one of my new favorite troupes reverse age gap. Meg is starting over and entering a new chapter of her life. A pit stop to help her BBF run her store is going to be a catalyst for that chapter.

I thought to myself when I picked this up, okay, this is going to be a lot of drama and angst, better get the tissue box NOT! It has been a while since I laughed out loud so much while reading That I connected with a story's characters on such a level that I forgot they were fiction The banter between Meg and Zak The slow evolution of Meg finding the new her Zak finding his more adventurous side The easy chemistry between Zak and Meg (these two are so cute together) The vibes between them
