Another absorbing story in Dale Mayer's "Man Down" series, each book is a standalone romance with a military theme running trough the series. Gulliam Lafranko was asked to join Jasper's elite military team whose mission was to find the person behind the attempted murder of their much respected boss, Mason. Mason was in hospital after being shot in the head by a sniper, he was wavering in and out of consciousness, his devoted wife Tesla by his side. Guilliam was more than happy to join the search

I really enjoyed reading Guilliam . Guilliam and Janelle were in a relationship when she left him to take care of her mother who was diagnosed with cancer . Guilliam is joining Jasper's team of investigators . Guilliam and Janelle run into each other at the hospital where her mother is spending her last days . Janelle needs Guilliam support and he gives it willingly . Unfortunately Janelle stumbles upon a suspicious person and finds herself in great danger and it is connected to Guilliam's investigation . This story is action packed and Suspenseful,the characters are wonderful . I highly recommend taking the time to read . I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
