Desperate times call for desperate measures in this wholesome romance, where Roark and Jessica turn to a matchmaker for help. It turned out that she is just a little more than she seems. Their attraction is instant, but they both have a history of broken engagements, leaving them with trust issues. Fortunately, Roark sees in Jessica the woman he wants to have by his side for life and refuses to give up on her.

A matchmaker found them a match. I felt for Roark only being wanted for what you have in the bank is so wrong. When he meets Jessica there is a spark right from the start but there is an age difference that appears to be a problem. Can they work through it? Delightful story with a bit of danger thrown in for fun I loved the cast of characters and this book was a joy to read I highly recommend it.

Cynthia Woolf is the USA Today Bestselling and award-winning author of seventy-five novels comprising sixty-three historical western romances, four contemporary romances, one contemporary romance novella, one historical western romance novella and six sci-fi, space opera romances, which she calls westerns in space. Along with these books, she has also published nine boxed sets of her books and two short stories.

Cynthia loves writing and reading romance. Her first western romance, Tame A Wild Heart, was inspired by the story her mother told her of meeting Cynthia's father on a ranch in Creede, Colorado. Although Tame A Wild Heart takes place in Creede, that is the only similarity between the stories. Her father was a cowboy, not a bounty hunter, and her mother was a nursemaid (called a nanny now), not the ranch owner.

Cynthia credits her wonderfully supportive husband, Jim, and her great critique partners for saving her sanity and allowing her to explore her creativity.
