Sara Ahmed is an independent researcher. Her research interests are in feminist theory, critical race studies and postcolonial theory. Previous publications include Differences that Matter: Feminist Theory and Postmodernism (1998) and Strange Encounters: Embodied Others in Post-Coloniality (2000).
