著者について

Vinit Kumar Gunjan is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at CMR Institute of Technology in India, which is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Dr. Gunjan is an active researcher who has published numerous research papers in high-quality conferences, authored several books, and edited volumes. He was awarded the prestigious Early Career Research Award in 2016 by the Science Engineering Research Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Throughout his career, he has been involved in various technical and non-technical workshops, seminars, and conferences. During his tenure, he collaborated with top leaders of IEEE and received the Best IEEE Young Professional Award in 2017 from the IEEE Hyderabad Section.

Amit Kumar is a DNA forensics professional, entrepreneur, engineer, bioinformatician, and an IEEE volunteer. In 2005, he founded the first private DNA testing company, Bio Axis DNA Research Centre (P.) Ltd, in Hyderabad, India, in collaboration with a US partner. He has extensive experience training over 1,000 crime investigation officers and has assisted in more than 750 criminal and non-criminal cases, providing analytical services in his laboratory to help achieve justice. His group also conducts research on genetic predisposition to cancer risk and has been supporting many cancer patients since 2012 in their fight against the disease. Amit Kumar was a member of the IEEE Strategy Development and Environmental Assessment Committee (SDEA) of IEEE MGA. He has organized various conferences, leadership programs, entrepreneurship development workshops, innovation initiatives, and internship-related events. Currently, he serves as the managing director of BioAxis DNA Research Centre (P) Ltd and is a member of the IEEE MGA Nominations and Appointments Committee.

Jacek M. Zurada is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the director of the Computational Intelligence Laboratory at the University of Louisville, USA. He has previously served as the department chair and distinguished university scholar. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees (with distinction) in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Gdansk, Poland. With over 420 published journal and conference papers, his research focuses on neural networks, deep learning, computational intelligence, data mining, image processing, and VLSI circuits. He has authored or co-authored three books. Among his notable achievements are the development of complex-valued neurons for associative memories and perception networks, the application of sensitivity concepts to multilayer neural networks, and diverse applications in clustering, biomedical image classification, drug dosing, blind source separation, and rule extraction for predicting protein secondary structure.

S. N. Singh obtained his M.Tech. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur in 1989 and 1995, respectively. Currently, he serves as the director of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee—Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India, while on leave from his position as a professor (HAG) in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. His research interests include power system restructuring, FACTS, power system optimization and control, security analysis, and wind power. Professor Singh has published more than 500 papers in national and international journals and conferences, supervised 40 Ph.D. students (with 8 currently in progress), and written 30 book chapters, 8 edited books, and 2 textbooks. He has completed three dozen technical projects both in India and abroad.
