He is a Chartered Engineer and award-winning academic who has made significant contributions to engineering education and research around the world over many years, especially in the UK, Europe, US, Canada, India, China, Japan and Africa. His professional memberships include the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) and AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics).
