I have read this one before own it in real book form and it was more he was stronger than he thought and gabby was a bit of refuse to even you would have to read the whole thing an see that she did find away as did he and Trixie well she had more education than school could give and she was dang smart too complex in more ways and I guess that first one that was educated teagen and Andre didn't count as black because mixed race not cool there as a review and she was strong an smart too form me you can keep writing I also thing if you don't read it don't review it because it really there's not anything to back it up just wanting here your self . I get this book I look at all sides and it does a parallel points because was great book for reading fixing to read it again think I better understand it not that I read Andre and teagen story

I absolutely loved it! I read the synopsis months ago, and it was quite misleading as this installment proved to contain more surprises and twists than I anticipated. I should have known better, having been a Dark Series fan for the past few years. I feel like Christine is building up to another big showdown, as was the case in Dark Wolf and Dark Blood. I love how this particular story wove in the fates of several Carpathians, and once again displayed the powerful bond of love, passion, loyalty and honor they share as a race of beings trying to survive the dire circumstances they continuously face. These are age- old, romanticized themes which Christine has skillfully woven into a well crafted and original work of literature; which honestly feels more like a memory of a home long forgotten. That is the mark of great writing, and she just gets better and better. Like the blood of a lifemate, the Dark Series is addicting!

I absolutely love the DARK series. I have read every one. All the novels go so deep into the story of the characters I find I love them all. This novel too has warmed it's way into my heart. Looking forward to the next story regarding Gary, as he has been a loved character that had been in almost all of the stories, and I can't wait to see what great things come to fruition in this next novel.
