The year is 1989, and Daron’s band Moondog Three is really starting to take off, but life is complicated. On the one hand, Daron has finally told his closest friends and bandmates that he’s gay, while on the other he has sworn off sex.
But just because they’re not sleeping together doesn’t mean a guitarist and a lead singer don’t have a relationship.
And now they’re preparing for a major cross-country tour. The itinerary will take them from California eastward, with Daron, Ziggy, the other band members, tech crew, and management all sharing the same tour bus. That won’t be awkward or stress-inducing at all, will it?
Readers speak!
“I guess I’m a Moondog 3 Groupie... but I love this series! Cecilia Tan writes knowledgeably about the music scene and the 80’s Rock/Pop culture. Each chapter is titled after a song, creating an amazing playlist to accompany the book. The characters feel very real and their struggles, both personally and professionally, are told through Daron’s narration. ”
“After all Daron and the gang have been through, I see the strength they have. I have even had things within myself come to light while reading the story. I don’t know if I could have handled all that Daron has gone through, but I am finding strength within my self to deal with my own stresses head om because of what I have read.”
