About this ebook

The second book in Suzanne Collins's phenomenal and worldwide bestselling Hunger Games trilogy.

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge.

(SPOILING) Great, but not as good as the 1st one. Leaves you and great cliff hangers, and the suspense builds up. the romance isn't as good and a little weak. Katniss basically doesn't know what she is doing, which builds suspense. It's still a great book and movie. better than any other trilogy I've read. Honestly, I didn't know what was happening when she got picked up by the plane. Got me a little confused. GREAT BOOK HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

This book was good but not as good as Hunger Games. I think that the ending of this book makes up for the beginning of it though.Throughout the beginning of the book you keep hoping for Katniss to jump on board with the rebellion but she hesitates for so long that it almost become unbearable. Katniss is very disappointing in her inaction. I also think the whole 'love triangle' plot of the story is a little old and frankly reminds me too much of Twilight.

this girl is 17. think about that. honestly so many people are old enough to kill in real life and not. I think it is crazy to think this girl should be sleeping with people because she IS FORCED to kill. she wouldn't if it were up to her. I think she is still in the mindset of a 14 year old at times. in real life if there were hunger games would you think "there is my child. now that she is killing she can sleep around" :|. NO. my fave in the series. SO SO SO well done. appropriate for 12+. 🙂
