Just One More Time By Carly Phillips Book six in The Sterling Family series This is a second chance romance. It's a little complicated due to the family dynamics in place. I get why they'd keep their relationship a secret. Not wanting the family to choose sides, but they obviously didn't do a good job of concealment. Now five years later and it's time to heal the wounds. Take the chance and see if one more time will be worth all the heartache. And will Aiden learn from his past mistakes?

This is the sixth book in the series. Brooke has been intertwined in the Sterling family forever along with her mom. She has history with her best friend's older brother Aiden Sterling. Now he is back to help his family. You can easily feel the tension is still there between the two. Aiden pulled on my heartstrings when he reveals his truth to his dad. The pain and guilt he has been carrying broke my heart. Then this book had a touch of suspense because trouble has followed Aiden home.

About the author

Carly Phillips, whose real name is Karen Drogin, was born on July 7, 1965 in New York. She received an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University. She eventually became a lawyer, but never really enjoyed practicing law. After having her first child, she decided she wanted to write a romance novel. Seven years later, she sold her first book, Brazen, to Harlequin Temptation.
