Captive Prince

The world building in this is phenomenal. If you are able to withstand the trigger/content warnings, I would highly suggest that you read this. I was utterly enthralled by the way CS Pacat built the universe, and the antagonism between Laurent and Damen. The premise was solidly executed, and I had a very difficult time putting this down. A fantastic start to a series with an intriguing set of characters!

if there weren't trigger warnings, there should be. because... damn. but this book was amazingly written, the characters incredibly clever, and this series is the only true enemies to lovers I have ever read. they despise each other

I absolutely loved this book. I could not stop reading it once I started. I'm so looking forward to reading the next two books. I've since finished, and re-read this series many times, and I cannot get enough of it. I come back and re-read once or twice a year. I fell in love with the characters, the world they live in and their story. I absolutely cannot recommend this series enough.
