"Captain Blood: His Odyssey" is an adventure novel by Rafael Sabatini, published in 1922. There, he becomes a skilled physician and forms a connection with Arabella Bishop, the niece of his owner. The novel ends with the implication that Blood will marry Arabella and become the governor of Jamaica.
