About this ebook

A cutting and unforgettable coming-of-age novel about identity, rebellion, and responsibility.

Sixteen-year-old Elliot knows how to stay invisible. Black, gay, and unsure where he fits in, he’s spent high school keeping his head down.

Until Hadrian shows up. Charismatic, non-binary, and unapologetic, Hadrian has one goal: take over the student government and shake the school to its core.

Elliot’s not ready to stand out. But when Hadrian delivers a speech that sets the school on fire, everything changes.

The students will no longer be ignored.

Their voices will be heard.

And some of them are ready to take their anger beyond protest. Violently.

Now Elliot has to decide: does he stay quiet like always, or speak up before Hadrian and the students following them go too far?

Queer is a dark YA novel from author Cameron Stone. In the author’s own words, it’s a story that’s sick of society’s s***.

This novel was previously published as Queer by author David Gearing.

About the author

Cameron Stone has been telling stories since he was four, always looking for ways to capture the world as he saw it. When his mom politely reminded him in a scathing yet honest review of his first book that bats aren’t birds, the four-year-old Cameron doubled down and wrote another book. This time with rainbows and flying snakes.

Cameron writes thrillers and the supernatural for the “weird” and “queer” kids, with the hope that they will see themselves in stories he never had when he sashayed out of the closet. He lives in Southern Arizona with his husband.
