Santa Severina è un borgo di poco più di 2.000 abitanti situato a pochi chilometri da Crotone. Si raggiunge tramite la Strada Statale 107 Silana-Crotonese E846. Dista 94,6 chilometri da Cosenza e 30,5 chilometri da Crotone. Per arrivare al borgo, al bivio, si segue un tratta del vecchio tracciato della Statale 107 che sale, con una serie di serpentine, verso Altilia e poi, varcato il vallone del Tràcina, si risale per arrivare nel centro storico che si trova a 326 metri sul livello del mare. È un paesello ricco di storia e molto suggestivo con un’atmosfera antica e una popolazione molto accogliente.
