I loved this the minute I realized they were both serial killers; even more because they both kill actual bad SKs. This is dark romance so I'm allowed to like them in this context. You can tell Rowan was written by a woman because he's perfect for Sloane. There was a twist I didn't see coming, which I appreciated. However, some scenes were too cringy/corny for me, which is funny because this has explicit depictions of body-horror. I had no problem reading those scenes, but I'm sure there are other readers that are more sensitive than I.There's a list of trigger warnings at the beginning, which is always good but IMO, it really wasn't that bad.
