Read up to volume 2. This had potential, but turned out pretty boring. The core problem is that the MC is not only too OP but also instantly liked by everybody. Therefore, he never faces any real challenge, any real danger, be it physical or emotional. He goes from a lvl 1 nobody to a high lvl champion at breakneck speed. He picks up a smithing skill and starts mass producing legendary equipment within a month. Everything comes easy for him and nothing gives the reader any sense of accomplishment. Even when it comes to romance, he gets the girl right away in the first book without having to deal with any heartache. Overall, I think this series is just disappointing.
