SKILL LEVEL: BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE

Learn how to create a cute little Jack Russell Terrier pin using basic bead embroidery techniques. You will need Japanese size 15/0 seed beads in several colors, one black fringe (drop) bead for the nose, felt, Ultrasuede, beading needles, a pin back, glue, and a little patience to complete this piece:) Please note: This piece is suitable for beginning beaders, however it is helpful to know basic stitches before starting the project.

Sketch which you may use as a template.
List of beading supplies needed.
24 color photos & step-by-step instructions.

She loves to create extremely dimensional beaded paintings by stitching glass seed beads to felt. Her beadwork is inspired by dogs, classic cars, city scenes, and pop culture. Diana's work has been published in both Beadwork and Bead & Button Magazines, the Bead International 2008 book, Australia's Creative Beading Magazine, Russia's Handmade Magazine, and most recently, a book called Great Dogs-Amazing Artists, Canine Art Today. The Lone Beader is also a juried member of the Cambridge Art Association in Cambridge, MA. Beadwork, beading kits, and patterns are available for sale on Etsy.
