Cowboy Don’t Go is book 2 in the Hardestys of Montana by Barbara Ankrum and a great addition. 4.5 stars Up next is Shay Hardesty and Cooper Lane’s story of secret teenage crushes, drama, suspense, family, twists, turns and more…things are not what they seem. Read on to see if Shay and Cooper can let go of the past to build a future… I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from BookSprout and Tule Publishing. Connor came back to Marietta to reclaim his life and to pick his father up from prison. Liam Hardesty hired him for the family ranch but his sister, Shay, is dead against it due to Connor’s father’s crime of cattle rustling. As Connor spends time with Shay’s son Ryan, she begins to soften and love sneaks in. An enemies to lovers story. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Cowboy Don't Go by Barbara Ankrum, the second book in The Hardestys of Montana series. The book had a very good storyline. I enjoyed the character development and the setting. I've enjoyed past books I read by the author but this one wasn't a top read but still was very good and kept me intrigued.
