You’ve been ordinary all your life—so unremarkable that no one notices, yet everyone assumes. From school to adulthood, you’ve been the quiet observer, neither exceptional nor forgettable, simply blending in. At school, your test scores were average, your social circle transient, and your attempts to find a "thing" faded away without consequence.

Now, as a back-office clerk, life feels just as unremarkable. Days blur together, birthdays go unnoticed, and even the hum of fluorescent lights feels more alive than you. But today, something is different—a faint, inexplicable shift that stirs the familiar into the unfamiliar.

This is my story, drawn from my school days before graduating in 2011, with a touch of sci-fi. An ordinary guy, Arjun—always the observer, always the Beta (β).
