About the author

Dr. Ayyappa Atmakuri: MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management, PhD in Mechanical Engineering. His academic and research journey has been marked by consistent dedication and interdisciplinary expertise. He began his career as a junior project researcher, gaining over three years of hands-on experience in the field of mechanical engineering, where he contributed to various industrial and academic projects. Over the past eight years, Dr. Ayyappa has established himself as a committed researcher, specializing in statistical data analysis and the study of physical and mechanical properties of natural fiber hybrid composite materials. Throughout his career, Dr. Atmakuri has authored eight peer-reviewed scientific papers and has participated in numerous international conferences, presenting his work across different countries and engaging in the global research community. In 2022, 2023, Dr. Ayyappa was awarded the Lithuanian Research Council Prize for Promotional Scholarships. Furthermore, in 2021 and 2022, he was honored as the Most Active PhD Student from the Kaunas University of Technology.

Prof. Habil. Dr. Arvydas Palevicius is a professor at Mechanical Engineering Department of Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania.The main area of research is microsystems engineering, including biomechanical systems for biomedicine. Fundamental and applied research is conducted on biologically adaptive multifunctional nanocomposite materials, their properties and compatibility of synthesis, periodic microstructures that can be used in various optical components for modern, productive sensor formation technologies and their application in medicine, pharmaceutical industry. He published more than 100 scientific papers. Prof. A.Palevicius is a co-author of published 2 books by SPRINGER publisher.

His academic activity is mostly related to participation in the doctoral process and under his scientific supervision was succsesfully defended more than 10 PhD dissertations. Prof. habil. dr. Arvydas Palevicius is laureate of the Lithuanian Main Science Prize in 2018.

Prof. Dr. Giedrius Janusas: MSc in Applied Mathematics, PhD in Mechanical Engineering. Giedrius Janusas has been working for more than 15 years in the field of statistical data analysis, physical and mechanical properties of composite materials, dynamics of microsystems and application of holographic interferometry principles to their analysis. He has co-authored more than 100 scientific publications. In 2018, G. Janusas and co-authors were awarded the Lithuanian Science Prize for their work on Micromechanical Systems Design, Research and Applications. He is a member of the Doctoral Committee for Mechanical Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology, a member of the organising committee of the Mechanics conference, and an editorial board member of the journal Mechanika.
