About this ebook

'Remarkable . . . Infidel shows that a determined woman can change more history than her own' Christopher Hitchens, Sunday Times

'If there is one book that really addresses the existential issues of our civilisation, then Hirsi Ali's autobiography is it' Michael Burleigh, Sunday Telegraph

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is one of today's most admired and controversial political figures. She burst into international headlines following the murder of Theo van Gogh by an Islamist who threatened she would be next.

An international bestseller, her life story INFIDEL shows the coming of age of this elegant, distinguished – and sometimes reviled – political superstar and champion of free speech. Ultimately a celebration of triumph over adversity, Hirsi Ali's story tells how a bright, curious, dutiful little girl evolves into a pioneering freedom fighter. As Western governments struggle to balance democratic ideals with religious pressures, no other book could be more timely, or more significant.

Life shouldn't this complicated. Your on point. I know some of this storys a little too well. FMG is a cultural issue and unnecessary. I admire you corage in writing this book and thank you from sharing your story. We know they will disagree with your thougs and book. Well done on your achievements and overcoming all those challenges you did face.

Thought provoking, fascinating, eye opening and powerful. My life experiences and background, including my education and career as a teacher, involvement in women's rights during the 70's and a period working in a women's refuge are a pale shadow compared to the lives in this book. So relevant to Britain today. It should be read, and it's a real page turner, too!

If you look deeper into her 'true life story' it is full of holes and is questioned by many. She didn't flee war torn Somalia but was living comfortably. She claimed asylum on falsehood. The whole story and ideology is a ploy to sell books but most do not see this and instead feel touched and continue to buy her books. Lol
