Most tunes are played 3 times on the recording by guitarist Steve Kaufman. First time through, play only the chords below the Autoharp tab line using a rhythm strum pattern. Once rhythm is established, try playing the chords above the Autoharp tab line for melody on the 2nd or 3rd verse. Includes access to online audio.

Steve Kaufman's father was a jazz piano player, and his mother was a classically trained pianist. At four Steve started plinking at the piano and did so for several years. He then moved on to the electric guitar at 10 years old for a few years and put it away.
Next the Cello for a few years then back to the acoustic guitar again. His brother, Will, started playing banjo and his instructor told him he needed a rhythm guitar player to help keep time. So Steve picked up his guitar again and got into bluegrass rhythm.
He began producing books and videos in 1989 after teaching private lessons for close to 20 years. His catalog of instructional materials is now over 100 items. Steve began touring the world conducting seminars, workshops, clinics and concerts in 1990 and after 5 years he and his wife, Donna, began "Steve Kaufman's Flatpicking Camp."
Since 1990 Steve has developed the reputation of being the "World's Guitar Instructor."
Steve stays busy with running his Kamps, tour schedule and teaching his online live group lessons.
