Deep knowledge of anatomy and surgical technique will continue to remain the foundation of surgery despite advancement in surgical technology. Robotic surgery usage has increased drastically in the last decade. Detailed descriptive figures accompany step-by-step instructions and include specific anatomical annotations that describe the anatomy during upper GI procedures.
