Dr. Rey Y. Capangpangan is a distinguished researcher and educator specializing in catalysis for environmental applications and the development of advanced nano-based catalysts. A professor at the Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN), Philippines, he has led impactful projects on synthesizing and characterizing catalyst materials aimed at environmental remediation, pollution control, and sustainable energy solutions. His groundbreaking work in environmental catalysis addresses critical challenges in water and air pollution, establishing him as a leading voice in the field of environmental chemistry.
