Deendayal Upadhyaya was the rare combination of an activist, a thinker philosopher and an ideologue. The concept of 'Integral Humanism' propounded by Deendayal Upadhyaya embodies the essence of human unity and development. The entire political history of Post Independence period needs to be properly recorded. Whenever such a history is written it would further raise the contribution of Deendayal Upadhyaya.

He advocated unitary form of government which envisages one centre but he always favoured decentralisation to the lowest unit of administration. His idea of infinite spiral unitary State put centre at the top and province, Janapad, Block, Village and Panchayat below it. Similarly distribution of financial powers should be such that the lowest tier of administration, viz. village Panchayat must have some autonomy.

Dr. Preeti Trivedi
Born in a relatively small town of U.P., Muzaffarnagar, Dr. Peeti Trivedi completed her education in Kanpur. She completed her post graduation in History from Acharya Narendra Dev Nagar Nigam Mahila Mahavidyalaya Kanpur and acquired the degree of Ph.D. from Kanpur University. Dr. Trivedi has been passionately following teaching profession and research work for more than thirty years and is into post graduate teaching for more than 25 years now.
Presently Dr. Preeti is Associate Professor and Head of the department of History in A.N.D.N.N.M. College. She has a number of research papers and books to her credit. To name a few books of Dr. Preeti which are already published are, यूरोप का इतिहास (I), यूरोप का इतिहास (II) and Freedom Struggle and Urban Politics. One of her books, Architect of a philosophy / Kanpur Unveiled is already under publication. This book shows her tireless and continuous journey into subject.
