About this ebook

In The Real North Korea, Lankov substitutes cold, clear analysis for the overheated rhetoric surrounding this opaque police state. Based on vast expertise, this book reveals how average North Koreans live, how their leaders rule, and how both survive.

Because of how we were going to study the Korean war in class...I decided to pick up this book to get a little insight. I can honestly say that this book has REALLY taught me ALOT more than I thought about the North Korea. It has also opened my eyes to the issues and relations of it. One other thing I love about this book is because of how it is Non-bias. Great book.

Great insight. Provided neutral perspectives and allows readers to understand that leaders have reasons for their actions.
