As a Behaviour Analyst I think this is a good primer to learning deception detection. it is plain English but doesn't go into detail however it covers the important points well. I would have added the concept of microbehaviour constellations (groups of signals) and the 5 second guide where an action occurs within 5 seconds of asking the question. finally the anchor points of sitting (buttocks, feet whether on floor or crossed) moving are very important. I would have included the NLP eye guide, it's not 100% but combined with a movement or other microbehaviour they are quite accurate if you first ensure the person follows the expected pattern.

I thought I was gonna be a lie-finding slueth, like once I was done reading I'd have all the tools to spot a liar aile away. I walked away from the end of this book enlightened and more open.
