This book had me tripping. You can never guess the plot twist. I felt sick after knowing the plot twist, sick as in mentally. I am in love with this book and how it has been written. If you're into psychological thrillers, you should not miss reading this masterpiece. It is freaking worth it. Love love love, mad love. Drove me crazyyyy.

I only read the sample to see if it's good, honestly saying it's good is underestimating it! I'm gonna buy the real book soon and read the rest! I recommend it, very good book!

One of the best books I have ever read. Very cleverly written, wow, author deserves a big shout out for that. It is interesting, captivating and very easy yet entertaining to read. What a wonderful ending, you find yourself gasping and living it out with the characters. Personally my interrogative skills came out and I was flipping between chapters and in absolute awe of how well the story was put together and how concise and entertaining it was, once the story aligns. The absolute end of the book doesn’t resonate much with me and I feel like there could have been a stronger final ending but overall what a wonderful book to read. If you like anything about phycological theory and mystery I would highly recommend this book!
About the author
Alex Michaelides was born and raised in Cyprus. He has an MA in English Literature from Trinity College, Cambridge University, and an MA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. The Silent Patient was his first novel, and was the biggest selling debut in the world in 2019. It spent over a year on the New York Times bestseller list and sold in a record-breaking 50 countries. Alex lives in London.
