Walleye Pollock is one of the world's largest fisheries. In this volume, the first review describes the population biology of walleye Pollock including its life history, population dynamics, genetic structure, and metapopulation structure. Craig Young is Professor of Biology at the University of Oregon, and past Director of the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology. Dr. Young has devoted his professional career to investigating the reproduction and early life-history stages of marine benthic invertebrates at all depths of the sea, and his lab pioneered the culture of larvae from deep-sea environments worldwide. Dr. Young, the founding editor of Atlas of Marine Invertebrate Larvae, returns to the second edition as co-editor.
