Adam Harris is a dedicated gentleman who is compassionate, dependable and enthusiastic about life. Harris was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in August of 2003. When first diagnosed, Harris was particularly disappointed and saddened because he knew that having diabetes would mean the end of a very bright naval career. He retired as a Naval Commander in July, 2004. Harris became an A1C Champion in February 2004.
