This is a short read. This is Persephone and Alexander's story. She loves her life of being alone, but what will happen when a man comes from her past? Can Alexander help her? Can Persephone accept not being alone? Can Alexander keep her safe?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

As always, this was a fast yet intriguing read. The author is getting a little darker with the main character’s trauma without being too graphic. I love how the original Evergreen characters always pop in to assist the new characters reach that happy ending; yet the book still works as a stand alone for those who haven’t read the first books.
