Jade and Meyer was the center of this go around. With some of the character from the other books making an appearance. This one was cute but not as compelling as the other ones I have read. I think it was Meyer, I know he was a grumpy but something about him was a little off more than normal. I just didn't seem to get the warm and fuzzy from this couples story as I did with the other couples. But if this is the only book out of 8 that didn't give me heart palpitation I think it is safe to say re

A Very Grumpy Neighbor is Book 8 of the Wolf Valley: Grumps series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, double virgin, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, curvy girl gets her hunk romance. Jade is a sweet and curvy arborist. Meyer is a hunky, grumpy, ex-military man who was forced to retire due to an injury. They are neighbors and both are attracted to each other, but Meyer is grumpy and rude. When they end up on a blind date, Meyer hopes this is his chance to win her over.

Jade is excited to be in her new home but her neighbor, Meyer, does not seem to want to make friends. She moved to Wolf Valley for a job as an arborist in the parks department. Their friends think they would be perfect and set them up on a blind date. The pair have chemistry but will the grumpy man loosen up? This is a steamy entertaining read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
