The problem is, one of those artifacts is in the Angelic realm, guarded by a bunch of pompous, lying jerks who can definitely kick my ass. I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be able to just talk them into letting me borrow their deadly magical artifact. Again.
But fighting angels and stealing relics is the least of my worries. I’ve got a found families of crazies to take care of and ill-advised dark magic to work. Plus, it turns out, it’s a lot harder than I expected to stay neutral while the world falls apart.
My stupid insistence on saving innocents might just bite me in the ass.

So… a fifth book will follow shortly after this one. And that will be the last main book in the series. *there is one scene in book 1 where a character with PTSD loses control during a BDSM session. The MC is not actually harmed, but this may be triggering to some readers
*stupid humor and a sarcastic main character who is just done with the world's bullshit, but also has a moral compass no matter how much she might wish otherwise
*no cliffhangers in this book, but it does end with a bit of an “oh, eff you mean, mean author” moment. Sorry, not sorry.
