This was a good series beginning. It is an intriguing read and kept me wanting more about the characters. The plot and setting are well developed, and I connected with the characters as this story was meant to do. I can't wait for the next book to fill in more spaces about the characters. This book introduces Brotherhood member Hamilton Prescott, who is returning home after 17 years to run his family’s business. Hamilton and Emerson Alexander have a night of intense pleasure, only for Emerson to discover who Hamilton really is in the morning – the sworn enemy of her brother. The chemistry is smoking hot between the MCs. Overall, the book is well-written and enjoyable to read, and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
