Pharmacology is a constantly changing field that requires a thorough understanding of how medications affect biological systems. This book attempts to close the gap between fundamental ideas in pharmacology and how they are used in clinical settings. It explores the pharmacological underpinnings of therapeutic treatments, signal transduction pathways, and the intricacies of drug-receptor interactions. It provides readers with a strong basis for both academic success and future research pursuits by paying particular emphasis to the most recent developments in receptor theory, enzyme inhibition, ion channels, and transporters.
In order to integrate theoretical ideas with current advancements in the pharmaceutical sciences, each chapter is thoughtfully organized. To improve understanding, the information is reinforced by clear explanations, current references, and illustrated diagrams. There is clear and clinically relevant discussion of important subjects like autonomic pharmacology, cardiovascular pharmacology, and neuropharmacology. The result of careful collection and intense scholarly work is this book. We believe that this effort will not only help students achieve their learning goals, but also spark their interest and motivate them to learn more about cutting-edge pharmaceutical research.

Dr. Avinash Joriya completed PhD. From Singhania university Rajasthan, B.Pharm and M.Pharm from Dr.A.PJ. Abdul kalam Technical University Lucknow. Currently working as Associate professor in Maa Sharda Pharmacy College Chikhari Harringtoganj Ayodhya ,India. Having 2 years of experience in various fields of advanced scientific research and development (CSIR- IITR) and worked in Namami Gange Project that was funded by central Government (NMCG) & also worked in Ganga Amantran Abhiyan in 2019. I have 6 year experience in pharmacological product development. During this time, I published 4 text books (A Textbook of Pharmacognosy, And Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Pharmacology-II, To Build Good Habits).I have guided many students of M.Pharm and B.Pharm at research level. I published Research paper both at national and international. I have 1 Indian Design Patent grants Indian published patents. I am a member of one scientific associations, and expertise of research in natural products. I have received Awards and Honours and participated 15+ Conferences and completed 20+ additional/skill courses through online platforms, substantial contribution in leadership, training and management. As a result of these academic achievements and experience, it is expected that we will fill the need of pharma profession.
Mrs. Nityashree Mohapatra, currently working as an Assistant Professor in Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Berhampur, Ganjam, Odisha. She has a rich Experience of 6 years in teaching of D.Pharm and B.Pharm. She has passed B. Pharm from College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Puri, Odisha, & M.Pharm in Pharmacology Specialization from Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences,
Berhampur, Ganjam, Odisha, India. She has guided many students of B. Pharmacy research level. She has more than three publications in different fields. International SCOPUS Journal. Also, she participated in 4 workshops, presented 3 posters in different National Conferences.
Miss. Rama Soni, Currently the Assistant Professor, Radha Govind University Ramgarh jharkhand . She has 3 years of teaching experience at the SBCPS Sakti & RGU Jharkhand.
Dr. Keserla Bhavani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacology, The Oxford College of Pharmacy, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She has rich experience, 15 years in teaching B. Pharmacy, D. Pharmacy, and M. Pharmacy. She has a qualified M. Pharmacy in Pharmacology branch from Vinayaka Missions University, Salem, Tamil Nadu and a B. Pharmacy from JNTU Hyderabad, PhD from Department of Pharmacy, Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu. She has guided many M. Pharmacy and B. Pharmacy students at the research level. She has over 25 publications, one Indian Patent grant. She has awarded Young Researcher Award from IISC, 2022.
