I appreciated that this book doesn’t act like it has all the answers. Instead, it shares real experiences and small reminders that recovery takes patience and there’s always light ahead. The section on resilience really hit me—it didn’t demand constant strength, just reminded me that bouncing back is possible. Still, a few chapters dragged on and could’ve been tighter.

I have someone in my family who is dealing with mental health illness and it became important for me to understand them better. This book aided me a lot in the whole process. It felt as if this book was my personal therapist and trainer. The guidance i got helped me to help the person who was struggling. I am happy that books like these exist in the public forum which work for a good initiative.

What I respect about this book is that it isn't about some vague promises to ‘fix’ things. Instead, it is filled with so many persona stories, and gentle reminders that healing is a process and there is help there is hope. I especially connected with the chapter on resilience—it didn’t say I had to be strong all the time, just that I could learn to rise again. Thank you.
