A Lost Treasure of Cinema uncovers the mystery behind The Story of the Kelly Gang, the world’s first feature film, engagingly blending history and intrigue. The story is compelling and well-researched, perfect for film lovers. However, the digital voice narration feels a bit flat and robotic, which takes away from the emotional impact. Still, it’s an interesting listen for anyone curious about lost films and early cinema.

A Lost Treasure of Cinema (GKP Lost Treasure Series Book 2), my fourteenth read from author Grant Kelly. An enjoyable 20-minute 43-second/26-page short read. “I received a complementary Spotify copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

I really enjoyed this short, but informative story about the loss of one of the first featured films produced in Australia in the year 1906. I liked learning about the history of film making and the search to find this treasure. It inspired the hope in myself, that maybe someday, it may be found. I thought the digital voice Mary G was easy to follow and understand, and the diction was clear. I was given a copy of the audiobook.
