What a fabulous posessive, OTT Mafia story. Kane is the epitome of detached dominance until he sees Lily. To say she's at her worst is an understatement, but he's captivated and determined. The lengths he goes to ensuring her happiness are astounding, and eye-raising.🤨 The differences between them are quite stark, and are portrayed perfectly by the narators in the audiobook. With a setting in the London area, the British accents made it easier to fully embrase the mindset of the story,

I love this audiobook; it features dual narrators and a fantastic plot. Lily is forced to run for her life after stealing from her criminal cousin. This is when she gains a stalker (in all the best ways), and suddenly everything in her life begins to go her way. Kane is a mafia kingpin who sees Lily on the first day she escapes from her cousin. He makes it his mission to give Lily everything she has ever dreamed of and more. Be ready for lots of steam, secret stalking, and the best happy ending.

This audio book is narrated by Bastian Allen and Cleo Pope. The pair read the story in such a soothing way that is a delight to listen to. Having read this story when the book was released, I must admit I love it even more as an audio book. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
