I thoroughly enjoyed this comprehensive history of Ancient Egypt. The author does an excellent job of presenting a well-rounded view of the culture, society, and religion of this ancient civilization. The chapters on myth and the gods were particularly interesting, and I appreciated the attention to detail and the inclusion of primary sources throughout the book. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Ancient Egyptian history.

I was blown away by the level of detail and the depth of research in this book on Ancient Egypt. The author does an excellent job of weaving together the various strands of culture, religion, and society to paint a complete picture of life in ancient Egypt. The chapters on the development of the ancient kingdom were particularly interesting, and I appreciated the inclusion of primary sources and artifacts throughout the book. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Ancient Egyptian
