About the author
Wilder Penfield (1891–1976) was founder and first director of the Montreal Neurological Institute and a renowned neurosurgeon who revolutionized our understanding of the brain. His books include No Man Alone: A Neurosurgeon’s Life and Speech and Brain Mechanisms.
Patrick Cullen (a.k.a. John Lescault), a native of Massachusetts, is a graduate of the Catholic University of America. He lives in Washington, DC, where he works in theater.
