When Stars Go Out

In a nation transformed by "The Great Reorganization Operation," teenagers are forcibly relocated across the country, separated from their families, and placed in government-controlled compounds. Reed, a defiant California teen, finds himself shipped to a facility in Virginia known as "the Hill," where he's assigned a factory job and a room with two strangers.

As Reed navigates this new reality, he discovers the dark truth behind the government's control. The Council, a shadowy organization overseeing the facility, maintains power through fear and surveillance. When Reed stumbles upon a secret group of Christian teens led by the charismatic Elijah, he's drawn to their authenticity and sense of purpose—even as he resists their faith.
