Through some Providential occurrences involving a fire of wealthy estates, thwarting burglaries, saving the honor of a young maiden, and saving the Price's ship in a battle, Cyril is put in command of a small vessel and further aids the British navy in battle. The story enforces for us the importance of looking for God's will in our lives, no matter in what situation He has placed us.
