On the way to the emergency room, an elderly woman regains consciousness long enough to inform paramedic Zoe Chambers that her fall down the basement steps was no accident. Annette Dashofy is a USA Today bestselling author. Her Zoe Chambers mystery series includes Circle of Influence, which was nominated for the Agatha Award for Best First Novel and the David Award for Best Mystery of 2014, as well as Bridges Burned, which was an Agatha Award Nominee for Best Contemporary Novel of 2015.
Romy Nordlinger is a New York City-based actress whose TV credits include roles on Law & Order, All My Children, and One Life to Live. As an audiobook narrator, she has lent her talents to over two hundred titles ranging in genres from romance and self-help to sci-fi and mystery.
