Under the Surface

Camphor Buckley departs from his home in the Gray Hills and ventures to the small city of Port Metro, on the edge of Lake Sub Vectus. There, he will begin his apprenticeship under Harry Porter, Priest of the Arcane Arts.

However, one fateful night, while out for a run under the moonlight, he stumbles upon the lifeless body of a woman on the lakeshore. This discovery thrusts him into a world he never knew existed - a world of mermaids, zombies, and revenge.

In the depths of Lake Sub Vectus, a deadly plague has swept through the mermaid population, leaving them weak and dying.

Along with Dappled Water and Waving Fronds, two mermaids on the brink of succumbing to the disease, Buckley teams up with Agent Dave Whatsun from the Zombie Horde Prevention Task Force to find the source of the plague.
