Gerard Moyne is a Sydney-based art consultant with a passion for the genius of Turner. He has a particular way of looking at things - discerning, sometimes a little callous, always out of the ordinary. When he meets Julia he falls blindly in love with her, unable to see her as she is. Shadowing their affair is the story of J.M.W. Turner. Known as the Painter of Light, he captured that element within his canvas, as Gerard is captured within the force field of Julia. 作者简介

Paul Morgan was born in London and educated at the University of Wales, where he studied philosophy and English. He lives in Melbourne and is the Deputy Director of SANE Australia, a mental health charity.

Humphrey Bower is a gifted and versatile actor. Since obtaining a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature at Oxford University, he has worked extensively in theatre, television and audiobook narration. Humphrey won the prestigious Audie Award (US) for his performance of The Family Frying Pan by Bryce Courtenay, and was shortlisted for an Audie Award for his performances of Gould's Book of Fish by Richard Flanagan and Brother Fish by Bryce Courtenay. Humphrey's sensitive and intelligent readings are highly regarded and he is well-known for his capacity to perform a variety of accents.
