A new series from a favourite author is always exciting and this hit the spot perfectly. The narrator has a beautifully expressive voice and is a pleasure to listen to.The story is as sweet and soul warming as the cookies it’s named after and I absolutely loved it.Trixie writes wonderful worlds that pull you in and wrap you up In a cozy blanket while she tells you a story with places described so beautifully you can picture them clearly and people who soon become old friends.

Cute Christmas Read. While I loved the first part of the story set at the North Pole and the array of characters that populate it, the main place where the investigation take place is a bit underwhelming and the characters feel a bit less developed. I will still get on with the series, as I like this Author a lot. The Audio version performance isn't great and I feel it detracts from the story. I recived a complimentary copy of the audiobook for my honest review.
