Cardiff Bay. The government has ordered the excavation of the wreckage of a secret underground base. DCI Tom Cutler is watching from a distance, fascinated by the process. Sarah Pinborough is an acclaimed author who has written horror, thrillers and YA novels, as well as scripts for TV. She has won several awards, including a British Fantasy Award for Best Short Story (2009) and a British Fantasy Award for Best Novella for The Language of Dying (2010). Among her Torchwood novels are Into the Silence and Long Time Dead.
