The three sisters. Three home planets that make up the Arcpelago. People move bodies from bio to artificial and back. Eichons and drones serve and manage. It is two centuries since the Arcpelago voted to go anarch. Everyone hoped it would mean more freedom, a Utopia. But no, they just got bored. Tibar attends a meeting where new discoveries about the energy of dimensions (surplicity) are presented. She and a small group investigate and find new challenges and new ways to remake society. One group forms a haven using only limited technology. They call themselves The Naturals. No enhancements, no body shifting a natural lifespan. They believe living as an animal is the only way to give purpose to life. Tibar's partner joins the group. An old spaceship returns from a distant star. What are the strange pods in the seas of a distant moon? Are they alive? Slowly it makes sense, but is it just another layer? Is it enough truth?
